Covering 680 acres, Chittorgarh Fort is accessible through seven gates and houses significant sites like Vijay Stambh, Rana Kumbha Palace, and Padmni's Palace, alongside numerous temples and kunds. As evening falls, a light and sound show brings the fort's history to life, highlighting its legacy before you return onboard for dinner.

  • The picturesque lake city of Udaipur, named after Rana Udai Singh, is famous for its many lakes, which add to its enchanting charm. The city’s stunning views and romantic atmosphere, steeped in the legendary love stories of ancient rulers, make it one of the most romantic destinations in India.

Begin your Udaipur tour with a visit to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a tranquil garden originally designed for the royal maids. The city founded by Jat King Maharaja Suraj Mal in the 17th century and at that time, the city was completely fortified and known as “Lohagarh” (The Iron Fort). The resilience of its military and its architecture helped the city to withstand numerous foreign attacks. Lohagarh is a masterpiece in its defensive techniques as the stratified and tough walls of the fort are enough to resist enemy`s attacks. Also, the periphery of the fort surrounded with heavy jaw crocodiles makes the enemy rethink before attack. These are some of the most important things that makes Lohagarh “The Invincible Garh” of bygone era.

After covering all the historical landmarks in Bharatpur, the journey will turn towards Agra. This city is the most prominent centre of Mughal architecture, home to one of the most iconic structures - the Taj Mahal. With so much sightseeing to be had, lunch will then be served in a 5-star property, before exploring a local market. Unfortunately, it’s soon time to commence our return to Delhi, but not before dinner is served on board the Palace on Wheels.
