Payment in full must be received no later than 90 days / 60 days (as per travel period outlined below) prior to embarkation. Final itineraries and trip documentation will not be released until full payment has been received. We accept payment by credit card and EFT.

We will email you a link to make a credit card payment online via our secure payments page. Alternatively please call us on 1300 889 513 and we will process the payment over the phone.
Payment of the balance by credit card attracts a surcharge of 1.8% for Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
India Unbound - General Booking Terms and Conditions
1. To make a booking please complete and sign the Booking Form (which incorporates these Terms and Conditions) and return it, together with the non-refundable deposit (as set out under 1.1 and 1.2), to India Unbound PO Box 255 Carlton South VIC 3053 (ACN 123 715 622).
1.1 For tour/travel arrangements taking place entirely between 01 February and 30 November: The non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking is 20%. If your booking occurs less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the tour/travel arrangements full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.2 For tour/travel arrangements taking place partly or entirely between 01 December and 31 January: The non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking is 30%. If your booking occurs less than 90 days prior to the commencement of the tour/travel arrangements full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. To cancel your booking, you must do so in writing to India Unbound. If you cancel your booking, you will be liable to India Unbound as follows:
2.1.1 For tours/travel arrangements taking place between 01 February and 30 November: If cancellation occurs 60 days or more before the commencing date of the tour, your liability will be the deposited amount plus any non refundable flights booked for you.
2.1.2 If cancellation occurs 30 days or more and less than 60 days prior to the commencing date of the tour, your liability will be 50% of the tour/ travel arrangement fee plus any non-refundable flights booked for you.
2.1.3 If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the commencing date of the tour/travel arrangements, your liability will be the full amount of the tour/travel arrangement fee plus any non-refundable flights booked for you.
2.2.1 For tours/travel arrangements taking place between 01 December and 31 January: If cancellation occurs 90 days or more before the commencing date of the tour, your liability will be the deposited amount plus any non refundable flights booked for you. occurs curs 60 days or more and less than 90 days prior to the commencing date of the tour, your liability will be 50% of the tour/ travel arrangement fee plus any non-refundable flights booked for you.
2.2.2 If cancellation occurs 60 days or more and less than 90 days prior to the commencing date of the tour, your liability will be 50% of the tour/travel arrangement fee plus any non-refundable flights booked for you.
2.2. 3 If cancellation occurs less than 60 days prior to the commencing date of the tour/travel arrangements, your liability will be the full amount of the tour/travel arrangement fee plus any non-refundable flights booked for you.
3. India Unbound requires that when you make your booking, you obtain a comprehensive travel insurance policy, which covers, but is not limited to, claims arising out of loss through the cancellation of bookings, loss of baggage or personal goods, medical expenses, travel and other costs arising out of the death or illness of a close relative, costs arising out of cancellation of transport services.
4. Any decision made by you to cancel a tour/travel arrangements in contravention of the decision or advice of India Unbound or their agents leaves you, pursuant with the conditions for a refund (Condition 2), liable for the full tour/travel arrangement.
5. No refund will be made if you cancel any of the tour/travel arrangement services (including, by way of example, meals, accommodation, day trips).
6. If you request changes be made to a confirmed tour/travel arrangement, India Unbound may, at their discretion, impose additional fees.
7. Additional costs such as hotel accommodation, fare increases, ticket re-issue fees and/or additional transport requirements arising from cancelled, delayed or re-scheduled flights, trains or any other transport will be borne by you.
8. You are responsible for the security of your own baggage and other personal belongings which are at your risk throughout the tour.
9. You are responsible for obtaining and producing when required any necessary visa and your own passport and with satisfying any health, visa and other requirements of any country.
10. The tour/travel arrangements may include walking and other activities and involve varying degrees of physical exertion. You are responsible for assessing your own degree of physical fitness and for the decision as to whether or not to participate in any activities during the tour/travel arrangements.
11. If you suffer injury or illness India Unbound or their agent may, at your cost (where possible in consultation with you or your relatives) arrange medical treatment and travel as India Unbound or their agent considers it necessary for your well-being.
12. You are responsible for the arrangements and cost of travel and accommodation prior to and after the agreed tour/travel arrangements. You are responsible during the tour/travel arrangements for costs associated with items of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, taxis for personal use, postage, drinks, camera fees at monuments, tips and gratuities, or other personal expenses and all other expenses not specifically detailed in the itinerary. Airport taxes are your responsibility.
13. Alterations to the accommodation, travel arrangements and scheduled activities on the itinerary may be made by India Unbound or their agents and, where possible, India Unbound and their agents will endeavour to arrange a substitute of similar standard.
14. India Unbound has the right to decline any booking.
15. India Unbound reserves the right on written notice to you to increase the cost of the tour if there is any significant negative fluctuation in currency exchange rates occurring prior to payment by you of the balance of the price of the tour/travel arrangement.
16. India Unbound and their agents do not accept any liability of any nature for failure on the part of transport, accommodation and other service providers over whom India Unbound and their agents do not have direct control.
17. In respect of its services, India Unbound and their agents give the warranties which under the Trade Practices Act or other legislation cannot be excluded, but otherwise does not give any warranty or accept any liablity, whetherin contract, negligence, or otherwise.
18. India Unbound and their agents do not accept liability in contract, negligence or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss, or delay. India Unbound and their agents do not accept liability or additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any act of god or other events which are beyond the reasonable control of India Unbound and their agents, including, but not limited to war, civil unrest, natural disasters, acts of god, acts of government or any other authorities, transportation failure or delay.
19. This contract is made in the State of Victoria, Australia and governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
India Unbound is a business name registered in Victoria, Australia in March, 2007.
