Insight Activities: India Unbound Themed Day Tours for India Travel

For the last several years we have been developing a range of interesting, atypical day tours and activities for inclusion in our travellers’ itineraries during a tour of India or travel in Sri Lanka, to provide a more tailor-made and in-depth experience of India. We call such activities ‘Insight Activities’.

Some of the more recent additions to this list include:

– a costal walk and boat ride in northern Kerala, where guests can see mussel farming and picnic on a huge peninsula with the Arabian sea on one side and a backwater estuary on the other

– bicycle tours in Delhi (the quiet backstreets, not the chaotic main roads!)

– a visit to the hills surrounding Jaipur, where guests can enjoy the lovely scenery and fresh air, with some gentle trekking and a visit to a ruined fort, hidden shines and interaction with a local tribal community

– A wide range of city walking tours covering all sorts of special interests – food, architecture, history, markets. We offer these in most of the major cities in India and all of the cities of Rajasthan.
