    A gently paced tour showcasing contemporary India, with an emphasis on wonderful accommodation and leisure time.  Stopping at just four great cities, the itinerary includes a day of guided exploration in each location and a day with a vehicle and driver to explore further on your own. This tour is designed to be a holiday, with less focus on conventional sightseeing and more space to relax.

    Enjoy a full days of leisure or time to explore cities in greater depth in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai & Cochin. Take in the sights in Delhi before enjoying a degustation menu at Indian Accent, voted the nation’s best restaurant for several years in a row. In Mumbai take a guided walk of the historic Fort area, visit the bustling Crawford and Mangaldas markets then indulge in High Tea at the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel. In Cochin, you can truly unwind with a massage included in this tour as well as sightseeing in this quaint coastal town.

  • Day 1 Delhi

    Welcome to Delhi, India’s capital. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. The city is known for its two distinct parts  – Old Delhi and New Delhi.

  • Day 2 Delhi

    Explore Delhi today with a local guide.  The program can be set by you. You can choose the well-known sights such as Jama Masjid and the spice market of old Delhi, or see some of the lesser-known parts of the city starting with a visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, an important Sikh temple. This afternoon you may choose to visit HauzKhas, a modern arts and shopping precinct with many boutiques and cafes that is a pleasant place to explore on foot for a few hours.

  • Day 3 Delhi

    Enjoy a full day of leisure with the vehicle at your demand. You could opt to visit Khan Market – a shopping precinct popular with expats and middle class Indians alike. Here you can easily stroll among the shops – exploring the boutiques and stores and stopping at one of the many cafes and restaurants you will find for lunch.In the afternoon, you may choose to spoil yourself a little and enjoy a treatment at the spa of your hotel. Tonight, your itinerary includes dinner at one of the country’s top contemporary restaurants located in Delhi.

  • Day 4 Jaipur

    Depart today for Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan and popularly referred to as the Pink City. Jaipur is known for its forts and palaces that were once the residences of its royal rulers, as well as its large, bustling city market. It is also a major centre for traditional block printing on textiles and you will see many fine examples of this craft in Jaipur. The afternoon is at your leisure.

  • Day 5 Jaipur

    A local guide will introduce you to the major landmarks of Jaipur – the city’s biggest drawcard is Amber Fort and its dazzling Palace of Mirrors inside.  Afterwards, a personalised guided walk will reveal parts of the city’s main market – from the local craftsmen to the street food you discover along the way.

  • Day 6 Jaipur

    The day is at your leisure. You may wish to enjoy some leisure time or explore Jaipur further with a vehicle and driver at your disposal.  Delve deeper into the city market – explore its inner laneways and bargain for arts, crafts and souvenirs you discover along the way.  Bangles, leather slippers, kites and brass bells are among the items that may take your fancy. Jaipur is also home to several modern cafes and designer boutiques. Take some time to visit them should you wish.

  • Day 7 Mumbai

    Fly to Mumbai today – India’s largest city. Mumbai is a thriving, glitzy megacity that’s home to more than 20 million people. It’s here that you can see the modern and traditional India side-by-side. Afternoon at leisure.

  • Day 8 Mumbai

    Discover Mumbai. A resident local guide will show you the city’s historic Fort are a during a gentle guided walk. Later, visit Crawford and Mangaldas market – and see where locals shop for goods from fruit to kitchen utensils, to home wares and the fabric needed for saris. Tonight you may wish to visit one the city’s best rooftop bars with spectacular views of Mumbai that we can recommend to you.

  • Day 9 Mumbai

    The day is yours at leisure. Relax at your hotel or explore this megacity further on your own with a vehicle and driver at your disposal. You may choose to spend some time at Colaba Causeway and surrounding streets with its mix of upmarket boutiques and street stalls.In the afternoon, enjoy a nod to India’s colonial past at the iconic Taj Mahal hotel with an indulgent high tea that is included in your itinerary.

  • Day 10 Cochin

    Fly to Cochin. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 11 Cochin

    Discover Fort Cochin.  This quaint port city is a delightful place to spend time. Rich in history, there are many sights to see here including the Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets and the Jewish Synagogue. A resident local guide will take you to visit its key attractions.

  • Day 12 Cochin

    Day at leisure, with a vehicle and driver at your disposal. Enjoy the day in Cochin – with its almost car-free streets, Cochin is an easy and enjoyable place to stroll. Visit its many boutiques, bookstores and galleries, trawl the antique stores or linger at one of its appealing cafes. In the afternoon, a massage included in this tour will help you unwind.

  • Day 13 Cochin

    Today you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your international departing flight.
