Explore the highlights of Assam aboard this 11-day cruise that takes you to explore the old capital of the Ahom kings at Sibsagar,  where you will also enjoy lunch at an Assamese tea estate. Your explorations will take you to the Hindu monasteries of Majuli Island before arriving at Kazaringa National Park. Kazaringa has UNESCO World Heritage site status and you will spend 2 days exploring all this stunning national park has to offer. Take elephant and jeep safaris in the park’s western and rarely visited eastern range with its population of water buffalo, deer, rhinoceros and elephant.

Roam amongst the temples at Tezpur and Madan Kamdev and visit a silk weaving village at Sualkuchi. You can also search the local bazaars at Guwahati for keepsakes and ride a cycle rickshaw to Cole Park with its collection of medieval stone carvings. The river journey also provides the magnificent opportunity to enjoy two full days of cruising this impressive river, taking in the ever changing landscape from the comfort of the sundeck.
