India Unbound Wins Best Overseas Tour Operator Award

LH-with-Chidambaram-and-Soni

India Unbound has been recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India as the Best Overseas Tour Operator from the Australia region for 2007-08. Lincoln travelled to Delhi in February 2009 to accept the award from Tourism Minister Ambika Soni and Home Minister P. Chidambaram (pictured right). The tourism minister described the awards as “recognition of outstanding achievements of tourism industry stakeholders.” To give you a picture of the significance of the event – the winning company from Europe has over 80 000 employees!

This is very exciting news for all of the people, here in Australia and in India, who have been part of the India Unbound journey so far. It’s my hope that the recognition conferred by the award helps to establish India Unbound as one of the leading “India specialists” in Australia.
